UPS just dropped this off tonight. It's from the cafe classifieds. I have another 45 hours or so to decide whether to keep it, but I'm pretty sure I'm sold. It's a '96 from Belgrade, but it looks absolutely brand new. The seller said he got it in '98 but hasn't played it at all, and I believe him. (He has another one that he's keeping.) It has brand new strings, so it's a little hard to judge the tone, but there's a definite family resemblance to my '95 Flatiron A5. Might be a little louder. I slapped four quickie pictures onto my site (http://grassfault.com/flatironf5), but I'll try posting one here too. I'm pretty psyched.
Thanks,
Dan

For a Montana mando you need a Colorado strap.

The Colorado Case Co straps are adjustable, don't put a huge hunk of leather on the scroll, and are light, strong, and comfortable.

Leather is for shoes. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Congrats! Mine is a '92, which had very little playing time when I bought it in '02. Yours will probably mature a fair amount, now that it belongs to a picker; I know you will really enjoy it.
