Amazing SlowDowner Video style?

Does anyone know how to slow down a video (esp YouTube videos) for learning? I use Amazing Slowdowner for audio files, and it is great. I know Video Surgeon will do the trick for videos, but it will also do a lot more than I want and is, consequently, pricey. Thanks

I use a Firefox plugin called Downloadhelper to capture the videos. I save them in mp4 format. Then I can import them into ASD and export the sound portion as an mp3. If you want to slow down the video as well, I don't know if ASD will do that but I am only interested in the audio anyway. It works great.

VLC does what you ask for and very well...and Its free...Just google VLC...!!

Two other ideas that might help.
I suppose you know already that many Youtube videos can be played at half speed just using the options in the lower right of the screen.
If you have videos playable in Quicktime, there is a control panel to change the speed in the full version of QT, which you may have to pay for.
