Has anyone bought one of these? I was looking through the eye candy section of the cafe and found them. They have a very unique shape. May consider buying one if I can get some feedback on it. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

I haven't seen one, but the luthier does have a good rep, especially for tenor guitars.

I can't speak on that model specifically but I did buy one of Joel's Junior Junior's and it's a fabulous mandolin. Also, Joel was great to work with and I wouldn't hestitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a quality instrument.

I have one of Joel's Selma tenors (the koa one) and have played many of his other instruments. Excellent craftsmanship and playability.

I don't know anything about them, but I alos like their look. I also think it's cool that offers a 4, 5, or 8 string version of the same instrument.

Sounds like Joel is the man to see.
I also like the fact that it comes in 4, 5, or 8 string models.
Appreciate the replies. http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/mandosmiley.gif

I have a great tenor telecaster guitar Joel made for me several years back. It has great workmanship and wonderful playability...plus it is fun. His instruments are very nice. Doug
