Just one more:

I'll leave it to Brett to fill in the specs.

What kind of truss rod does he put in that. It looks like a non-adjustable double rod but there seems to be a routing for the adjustor.

I like the top and side binding. Is there 2 black stripes in the top and back binding? w/b/w/b?

Here's a close-up of the binding from a pic posted on another thread here:

This from Andy at Driftwood:
"The two dark lines in the neck are carbon fiber inserts. They add very little weight but a tremendous amount of strength. The neck does have a double action truss rod. The carbon fiber rods do have enough flexibility to make the neck adjustable if necessary. I have done this on previous mandos and works great. Neck bowing during seasonal pressure changes will be much less likely with the rods."

That is amazing. The before and after pictures of the back are a surprise comparison for me. I have no experience with this sort of thing, but the grain of the wood is so obvious 'in the white' and it's virtually gone with the finish on, leaving nothing but the figure.

Very classy and elegant.

Yeah, I've never understood the dark sunburst thing myself either.
