Both of these mandolins have been shown on this forum. Today, I photographed them together. My 1925 A (recent arrival - love it!) and my 1920 A3 (owned forever). They sound different and they are both great!

Very nice! My first thought was "chiaroscuro" and the song by that name by Paula Cole, one of my favorites of hers. This is very likely not your kind of music, but what the hey - give it a shot. Artists and artistic techniques are so rarely the subjects of pop songs, when they are, it's worth noting.

My second thought was that you should play gigs and just have these sitting on the stage while you play another altogether. My third thought was that you and a friend should play them, one of you wearing all black and the other white. :mandosmiley:

My fourth thought was that I should ease up on the coffee .. ~o) :grin: :whistling:

You could always cut them in half and make two matched tuxedo mandos. :grin:
