Mindworks Music Productions is pleased to announce the Second Annual Northeast String Workshops this August 29 at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock, PA. The workshops will feature all day instruction on mandolin, banjo, and guitar as well as a special jamming course in the morning. This will be a great opportunity for musicians of all skill levels to learn from today’s best. Beginners are welcome!

The day will be jam packed with over five (5) hours of instruction covering a wide range of topics. The workshops will help everyone improve their playing, get comfortable in a jam session, and know their instrument a lot better. Jam sessions will be held on site so you can immediately apply what you are learning. Workshop attendees will get plenty of one-on-one attention as the class size is limited to ten (10) players.

The instructors are Anthony Hannigan (jamming), Pappy Biondo (banjo), Roy Williams (mandolin), and Mark Morris (guitar). Instructors have taught at some of the most prestigious workshops and camps in the country including Rocky Grass Academy in Lyons, CO, the Augusta Heritage Center in Elkins, WV, and La Roche Bluegrass Workshops in La Roche, France. The instructors are recognized as some of the best in their field.

Mindworks Music will also be hosting the Cornstock Folk Festival at Lazy Brook Park in Tunkhannock, PA August 29-31. Workshop attendees can purchase weekend passes for only $30! Attendees and their guests can camp Thursday night at the festival sight. Camping is not open to the public until Friday.

Cost of the workshop is $50. Space is limited. Students may sign up for more than one instrument for no extra charge.
