Hey There,

I'm going to Nashville, TN next week for a conference. Just wondering if there are any great but lesser-known places to hear good music. Good to me means bluegrass, acoustic, old country or singer-songwriter type stuff.
I'm already aware of the Station Inn, the Bluebird Café, The Grand Ole Opry, and the Ryman...just wondering if there's something else out there.

Thanks,

Kirk Miller

Are you going to ACVIM, by chance?

The Second Fiddle comes to mind.

Some of the ones listed you already know; but look at the Exit/In; or just walk around Printer's Alley or up and down Broadway and you'll run into all kinds of things.

+++1 for 3rd and Lindsley!! Far from the tourist beaten path, all kinds of eclectic musicians-musicians and good bar food too. I saw Stuart Duncan playing with Jack Pearson on a Wednesday night, and it was awesome! Victor Wooten was going to play that weekend.

I've heard the Pickin' Parlor is fun too!
