What sizes of round chisels are needed to cut in the binding slot at the scroll, and where can I get them? Are they sharpened to the outside or inside of the radius? http://www.mandolincafe.net/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif

Any woodcraft store wil have these. They are called Micro Chisels. You can get a set of 5 different shapes for about 40 bucks or just buy about a 3/16 rounded and a small flat chisel. They start at about 9 bucks each for a cheap one.

By 'round chisels' I'm assuming you mean gouges. If so, there's tons of options available normally marketed as carving tools. There's various sweeps (radii) and sizes available. Here's two sites that have pretty large selections.
