Searching for maker...Letter "R" on headstock, F-style mandolin

...saw a mandolin posted on Craigslist...in my price range for an F-style I desire...
seller says no maker marks on/in mandolin, just the letter "R" inlaid on headstock...anyone see a similar piece in their travels? ...need some provenance..

The fern-type inlay on the headstock seems to be the same as many of the low-end Japanese-chinese-Korean mandolins. Can't place the "R", but the inlay is If it's set up well and and sounds nice to you, it could be a good deal. See what some lof the other Cafe-ers think. I'm thinking, $3-400, at most...

Agreed, it looks like a generic far east mandolin. You only have to order about 50 to get your own headstock inlay.
