I got this nice mandolin with the top caved in. My remedy was to cut out the top and add a dog dish resonator and a home made ebony bridge.

That is a cool idea.
How's it sound?

Sort of like the Commodium. Hmmm... Dog dish... a "Canidium", perhaps? :) :))

Now THAT is just the downright definition of "Funky"! I'd love to hear some clips.

So is the outer ring part of the dog bowl? Or is the inner 'cone' an inverted dog bowl? Or both?

I am pretty sure all of the metal you see is one dog bowl inverted.

I went and looked at my dog's waterbowl and it does have a double wall construction. I guess I never looked at it very carefully from a mandolin point of view. My dog was rather suspicious of me taking his dish.

I bet it barks but do you get tips in Kibble? Does it sniff other mandolin's ff holes upon meeting? Do you spin three times before laying it in the case?

That's a really cool mandolin! Love it.

Don't you think it should have a "biscuit" bridge? :)):)):))

Perfect for playing Dawg music. Or accompanying some Puccini!
