I just bought a Dean F-style mandolin. It looks like a pretty good mandolin, but I want to know if anybody has had any experience with them.

Is it made by Neil Dean?

Is it the Bluegrass F? (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/folk-traditional-instruments/dean-bluegrass-f-mandolin?source=3WWRWXGP&gclid=CLHk7NDWybwCFfFDMgod8SAAzg&kwid=productads-plaid%5E57302306227-sku%5E519825000000000@ADL4MF-adType%5EPLA-device%5Ec-adid%5E30428422467) If so, it's a $350-discount-price plywood F-model, and IMHO you might have done better getting a solid-top instrument.

If you got one built by Vermont luthier Neil Dean, (http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/showthread.php?20068-Post-A-Picture-of-Your-Neil-J-Dean-Mandolin) you probably got a very nice one.

Hello! Calling Logan! Where are you?

I hate it when someone starts a thread with incomplete information then leaves all the people trying to help scratching their heads.

If it is the cheapie plywood Dean then good luck. You'll need it.
