A 'noob' question: I will be out of town for 9-10 days - should I store my KM-150 with loosened strings while I am gone? If so, how much loosening would you recommend?

A week or ten days, probably no worries. Six months, maybe.
If you feel you must back them off maybe a full turn or so.
I wouldn't bother for that time frame.
You mean storage at home while you travel? I don't think you need to loosen strings at all.
