Zoom H 6

Any one have any experience with these? I had ordered an H4 before Christmas but had the order was cancelled by the seller because out of stock. Now when I get back to ordering I find that the H6 is out at a bit higher price but the H4 is still available. I have been reading the reviews (4) and so far it's a bit difficult to sort out for a rank recording beginner. I am hoping that Almeriastrings will get his recording book out soon, the 1st quarter is charging along now.

I've had an H4 for awhile. I use it to record my middle school band. It does more than I could ever think of using. The H4 will only take a 2 gig or less SD card which can be hard to find

Mine works fine with a 16Gig card/ shows and reads all the space etc.
Maybe they've updated it?

Probably. Mine is at least 3 or 4 years old.

There is an available software update that allows the device to access memory spaces beyond 2 GB.
