Maybe they should rename it Statman Island. I wish I could play half as well as he fools around.

Here's the first part. Should have posted that first. Trying out a few Loars.

Thanks for posting. I wondered what that 12 string would sound like when I'd seen the ad for it, and I can't imagine a better way to hear it than to have Andy put it through it's paces. Sheer mando-goodness.
He's coming to Albany in March and I couldn't be happier.

Cool stuff. Andy plays hard. No wonder his snakehead was so beat. I like the 12 string as well.

Mandolin Brothers is an amazing store. I know what I feel like in there. I can't imagine what someone who plays like THAT feels there. :)

I hated that 12 string when I tried it but I must admit Andy makes it sound better than I remembered -- on the third hand even he can't make it play in tune. I will take the D'A L&H copy any day over that 12 string.
He sounds great on the Loar, of course. Hey, he knows that tune Flatbush Waltz pretty well, too. :)

Looks and sounds like that pickguard is pretty much in the way. Guarding the E strings from the pick.
