I was watching a Lady Antebellum concert on Letterman Live last night and I notice that Dave Haywood now plays a Gibson F5 a lot of the time now. He also, besides guitar plays what seems to be a large mandola looking instrument. May be a Weber but I can't make it out. Does anyone else know what it is? Anyway, it is good to see mandolin type instruments coming back to all kinds of music again.

At Nick
Agreed. Good to hear about the mandolin finding its way in to different kinds of music.
It seems I will need to take a look for mandolin in Lady Antebelum?

Yes. It is cool. The main guitar playing guy is using different mandolins now. And a mandola! Those young folks have great harmony. Will be in San Diego in March. Will see them for sure! Look for their newer videos.

The Band Perry (no relation, ha,ha,ha) has mandolin in their front line-up as well!
