Notes are notes -- an F is an F on the fretboard, regardless of whether it is notated in bass clef or in treble clef.
Since this is a mandolin forum, you won't need bass clef at all. The lowest note the mandolin plays in standard tuning is the G below written middle-C, which is easily notated in the treble clef. It can also be notated as the top-space on the bass clef, but that usually doesn't happen.
If you're trying to play bass-clef music on the mandolin it will sound an octave higher than written if you're trying to play it as written. If you know the note names on the bass clef, you can play those same notes on the mandolin, just an octave higher.

There is more difference in reading treble clef and bass clef than just the octave. For example the bottom line on the bass clef is a "G" whereas the bottom line on the treble clef is an "E".

Mandolin G string notes are bass clef, until the C, 5th fret, is Middle C.

I had assumed the person asking already knew that difference, but that may well have been a bad assumption on my part. Thanks for pointing that out.
