Don Julin & Billy Strings on the east coast

Billy & I will be heading out east for a short tour of concerts and workshops and would love to meet some cafe folks in person. Cyberspace is cool but in person is still my favorite. Some of you know me as more of a jazz guy but these days I am also playing a lot of traditional bluegrass with a kick that we are calling extreme bluegrass. Some of you may have seen us at the Mandolin Symposium last summer in Santa Cruz.

I had the fortune to attend Don's workshop and the Julin/Strings concert in Greenwich NY, and I have to say that the whole experience was simply awesome! If you have the chance, don't miss out on attending one of the concerts on their East Coast tour. They are such a dynamic duo, it brings traditional bluegrass to a wholly new level... They are virtuoso's at what they do, the guitar and mandolin breaks are second to none. Plus the energy that they bring to the stage make the performance a spectacular high from beginning to end. This is one show that you won't doze off to!
