Purchased this Breedlove Quartz OF from the classifieds here. Seller was very helpful answering a lot of my questions. Kevin even emailed last night to remind me to wait 24 hours until opening. I almost made it a full 24, but opened it this morning before work! He wasn't kidding, this beauty looks brand new. The tuners are elite stew mac I think, and the tailpiece is Weber. I like how it makes the modern Breedlove look a tad bit more trad. The hard case is sweet! I love the red stitching. I think he has J75's on it. The heavy gauge are easier to play than expected, eventually I will switch to EXP's but these are good to finally try out since they are like the standard which others are judged against...

I owned a 2006 Quartz OF for 6 years and loved it. It got much better with age and playing time. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed mine.

Beautiful Mandolin! If something happened to my Bulldog, I would take the insurance money and look at a new Breedlove!

Glad you like it, Troy. I also really liked it but MAS got the best of me. If I could own multiple mandolins I would definitely want a Breedlove in my collection.

The J75s are still relatively new, so you should get another week or so of play from them. EXP 75s would be really nice. The 74s sound good too, just with a little bit less body.

Enjoy!
