2016 Chuck Lee Glen Rose

2016 Chuck Lee Glen Rose in excellent condition. This is an absolutely beautiful banjo both in terms of sound and aesthetic. Chuck Lee is a master of his art and this banjo is a wonderful example of his skill. The tone is all at once deep and rich as well as crisp and lively. It's a very loud banjo, but not in any sort of harsh or overpowering way. It responds equally well to the lightest of touch or with heavy frailing. Beautiful materials and craftsmanship throughout. This is the 11" version and features a Fairbanks "Electric" style tone ring, walnut rim and neck, traditional dowel stick with maker's plate, Waverly tuners, and a two way adjustable truss rod. The bridge and tailpiece have been upgraded but the originals are included. 25-1/2" scale length, 1-3/8 nut width. Comes with a very nice Superior Deluxe hardshell case.
