Collings MF5 Torch&Wire Or MF5 Blonde

Photo for Ad 167497

Here are two wonderful Collings MF5's. I will keep whichever doesn't sell first. The Torch&Wire is a 2019 which I acquired in a trade with a dealer involving another exquisite MF5 and a Martin D-41. This is unplayed as I had planned on turning it right over but that sale never took place. It comes with an unmolested warranty card. Retail in 2019 was $9999 and price is $8200 shipped. The Blonde is a 2009 I custom ordered as all blonde and with a wide-nut(1 3/16"). It later had a Mowry pick guard and a K&K pickup added. This was my main performance Mando until it was supplanted by my last custom build from Andrew Mowry. This is not a case queen but is not beatup or abused either. This mandolin has upwards of 5000hrs playing time over the last 10 years and sounds and plays great! I had the frets dressed about 2 1/2yrs ago and will probably need to be refretted over the next couple years but plays just fine now. Asking $6200 shipped. I have a slightly used Austin Calton case (a few minor scuffs) that I can include with either Mando for an additional $550. Otherwise they ship with standard Collins's badged TKL cases. I have plenty of pictures of both, and can do a Zoom or FaceTime show and tell if wanted, for serious potential buyers. I have numerous references as well. This is a new email for me as my last one was hacked. Standard 72hour review but buyer pays shipping both ways if returned. I don't do PayPal but a cleared personal check, Bank check or wire transfer(preferred) is fine. Instrument ships after check clears. Please feel free to ask any questions. Not interested in trades as I really need to thin the herd which has grown to four F5's. As my wife is fond of saying,"Why do you need so many? You can only play one at a time!" Yeah, but I have MAS and GAS! I will take care of the donation to the Cafe'. Thanks for looking. Jim
