2014 Weber Bitterroot F Style Octave Mandolin

Photo for Ad 146694

2014 Weber Bitterroot F Style Octave Mandolin that is a little "cosmetically challenged" but it's got it where it counts! There are multiple finish abrasions around the entire instrument in the form of dings and scratches, and the headstock scroll has been repaired. The finish has been removed from the back of the neck for a "speed neck". Still, the instrument is overall very beautiful, plays wonderfully with no issues, and has an absolutely amazing tone. Deep, rich, and complex with lots of volume and sustain. This one was made with the shorter 20" scale length and is, in our opinion, much easier to get around on for playing melody lines compared to the more common octave scale of 22". A K&K pickup has been added and sounds natural and true to the tone of the instrument. If you don't mind the cosmetic mojo, this is a great deal on a professional level F Style octave. Comes with it's original hardshell case from Weber that has a few scuffs but in overall great shape.

$3400 shipped/insured to the lower 48
