This is a barely used open back banjo made around 2012. All local and sustainably gathered tone woods from the mountains of Northeast Tennessee are used throughout. I was told that tis banjo sports walnut and cherry neck and pot, persimmon tone ring and fingerboard, Grover champion pegs with a geared fifth. But I’m no expert & so can’t verify. This is a rare brand, but there’s a YouTube video of a Lost State Banjo with a title of “Lost Girl. lost state banjo co. posted by Timothy Pharis on Sep 14, 2014. It’s not the same model as mine, but gives you a feel for their sound.
