1996 Martin OM-28V Guitar

Photo for Ad 133297

(Serial No. 588038) Excellent condition - the guitar looks nearly unplayed. The Martin OM28-V Vintage Reissue guitar is a very close copy of the 1930s guitar. It has a solid Sitka spruce top with herringbone top trim and grained ivoriod binding (top and back), 1 1/4 inch advanced scalloped bracing, 1 3/4 inch nut, 2 5/16 inch bridge spacing, modified V profile neck, Indian rosewood back and sides with a zigzag backstripe, ebony fretboard with slotted diamond inlays, ebony bridge, and open back tuners with butter bean buttons. Has few nicks and dings but nothing major. Frets are good, neck is straight and in set. Excellent instrument for fingerstyle, but it responds well to a flatpick, too. Here is a link to a YouTube video of this instrument, as played by local luthier Richie Dotson .This instrument has just been set up by my luthier and is ready to go. It needs nothing but your fingers on the strings! Comes with the original very nice velour lined Geib style hardshell case....USD $2750
