Gibson A Snakehead (1923)

A nice Loar period mandolin with a fine sound, this Gibson A Snakehead features a Sheraton brown finished spruce top with an oval soundhole. Other details include an engraved tailpiece cover, raised tortoise plastic pickguard, and ivoroid binding on the top and soundhole. Replacement tuners have been installed. This handsome A-style mandolin is in very good/excellent condition.
