Vega Whyte Laydie Conversion (11-13/16)

Photo for Ad 124588

This banjo started out its life as a large pot (11-13/16" diameter) Vega Style R "Whyte Laydie" tenor banjo and has been converted to a five string utilizing an Eastman reproduction Whyte Laydie neck w/ inlays. The rim assembly features all original hardware, some mismatched nuts, (No Knot repro used), and the original dowel stick has been retrofitted to the new neck; evidence of a past resonator (filled dowel hole). Some finish scratching on rim cap/heel cap/peghead overlay. Outfitted with Gotoh planetary style tuners. Great rich tone. Included in sale is original tenor neck
