Thought I'd never sell this one but I'm on the trail of a Herringbone and decided to keep my '44 D-18 (which was for sale) . General wear , scars but no wood cracks. Some checking and lacquer cracks. This is the early '38 with 1 3/4" nut , and advanced X brace. These are harder and harder to find. This fine sounding Martin has a replaced bridge, some overspray on headstock. Fretboard is clean (not sure if replaced or planed) Bridge plate may have been replaced. Guitar is nice and clean inside. Pick guard was removed at some point and this older one was reapplied (with tape). Tuners original. Neck has been reset and frets have light play wear. Endpin has been plugged. Bone but and saddle, AA pins. This is the real deal, folks. With non orig hard case. $30,000 .
