Early 30s National Duolian Plectrum $2250

Photo for Ad 122144

I have truly enjoyed this instrument. This is a 27" Plectrum, and very rare in Duolian. There are a fair number in Tri Cone, but I have not been able to find but one other Duolian example (there may be a lot more of them than I think). The set-up is excellent- very easy to play. The tuners are modern replacements, originals included. Everything else is original It is easily played with slide or regular fingering. I mostly play it with a set of banjo picks, but it can be played with a straight pick of course. It capos well, and loves all the tunings, i.e.- G, C, D, E, Chicago, tenor guitar. When I first got it I was thinking it would not be as loud as a banjo, and I could practice without drowning everything out. I was wrong. It is loud. It comes in an older, high quality TKL case that is a great fit, and in very good shape.
