Here is a beautiful Octave Mandolin from luthier Richard Beard. Beautiful, highly flamed Hawaiian Koa back and sides, with a tight grained, x braced Alaskan Spruce top with herringbone binding and a five-piece neck with ebony fingerboard and bridge. Incredibly loud and resonant. in excellent condition with no notable flaws to speak of other than some light surface scratching. A true joy to play. Nut is 1 3/8 inch. Scale length is 22- 3/4 inches.
