Bacon & Day Silver Bell No. 3/4

Photo for Ad 119751

Another Silver Bell anomaly; this is a well worn Silver Bell that has appointments of a style 3 and four. The armrest, tension hoop, and tonering are engraved. The heel is carved and was most likely repaired at one point. Equipped with pearl button planet tuners, recent refret, unbound peghead. Total of 24 frets (20 frets to body, 4 on extension), this banjo could be played as a tenor or plectrum. One replaced thumb screw, hole present where past knee mute was installed, light finish wear on outer rim wall. Included in sale is an original Plectrum case
