Martin D-18 1939

Photo for Ad 118879

Simply as good as it gets in the world of D-18s! With great balance and projection, this '39 is a remarkable sounding example of a prewar Martin. The guitar falls in the transitional period and features a rear-shifted X-braced with a 1 3/4" nut width.

The guitar is in excellent condition for its age with the expected amount of honest playwear. The guitar was formerly owned by bluegrass legend, Ronnie Bowman and comes with a letter of authenticity.

Top Wood - Adirondack Spruce
Back/Side Wood - Mahogany
Fingerboard Wood - Ebony
Scale Length - 25.4"
Nut Width - 1 3/4"
Pickup(s) - None
Case - Hard Case
