1999 Summit F-100s

Photo for Ad 117905

Summit F5 mandolin built by luthier Paul Schneider of Tennessee, dated December 1999. There are a few dings and pecks as would be expected of an instrument of this vintage but it's in overall excellent condition. No cracks or previous repairs and none needed. This mandolin has a very Gibson-esque tone and feel to it. Very dry and woody with a snappy midrange response. It's even appointed in the same way as a Gibson F5G of this era. Strong chop! Flat fingerboard with very minimal fret wear, 1 1/8" nut width, McIntyre "Feather" pickup installed (sounds great plugged in!). Comes with a hardshell case.
