Take Five by Paul Desmond - (print w/ Courier 10 font). A fine, old melodic Dave Brubeck tune in 5/4 time (think "1-2-3, 1-2"). The first four measures set the rhythm, then you're off. I believe the jamming is done over these rhythm measures after you play the melody a few times. The chords are very basic so the rhythm folks should practice their inversions here.
