Lutsen, Minn. — The North Shore Music Association is proud to host their 18th Master's Weekend featuring Grammy winner Mike Compton and David Long for a mandolin workshop and concert, November 7-9, 2008, at the beautiful Lutsen Resort on the shore of Lake Superior.

Check-in is Friday, November 9 with registration and jamming to start the weekend. Saturday is a mandolin and guitar workshop, followed by more jamming and an evening concert by Compton and Long. Sunday's activities include more jamming before check-out!

Lutsen Resort, the home base of the Master's Weekend is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Superior and is the oldest Minnesota resort, well known for a long tradition of warm hospitality going back over 100 years. The Historic Lodge offers the amenities of a fine hotel, complete with restaurant, pub, pool, whirlpool, sauna and a game room, with charming, Scandinavian-style ambiance.
