Old-Time & Bluegrass Mandolin Workshop - Grafrath, Germany

Grafrath, Germany — A bluegrass and old-time mandolin workshop will be led by Jesper Ruebner-Petersen here on March 14-15, 2009. The city of Grafrath is located just minutes east of Munich, Germany.
All levels of mandolin will be covered and smaller groups may be created according to experience. All students will participate in discussions of theory and improvisation. Classes will be held from approximately 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Class size is limited to 12 students.
A public concert with Jacques and Jesper Stotzer Rübner-Petersen will be held March 14, at 8:00 p.m. in the school auditorium. Workshop students will be admitted for free.
The mandolin portion of this workshop has been added to a successful series of finger-style guitar workshops that have been held here since 2004. The guitar workshop will be held concurrently led by Jacques Stotzem Jacques Stotzer and Ludwig Vieser Ludwig Vieser.
