4th Annual Hill Country Acoustic Music Camp

Kerrville, Tx. — The 4th Annual Hill Country Acoustic Music Camp produced by R. B. Miller and the Texas Arts & Crafts Educational Foundation will be held June 25-28, 2008 on the campus of Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas.

The camp will feature classes and structured jams in mandolin, banjo, dulcimers, guitar, bass, fiddle and voice. Instructions is suitable for novice to advanced players and special jam sessions tailored to your skill level. Classes are limited to maintain individual attention and small class sizes.

Joe Carr:

- Introduction to Monroe-style, Parts I & II

- Jamming With Harmonized Scales
- Simple Monroe Sounding Blues

- Pentatonic Scales (How to Get Out of a Jam During a Jam)
- Simple Duet Classical Mandolin Pieces

- Blues Mandolin

Paul Oorts:
- A native of Belgium, Paul is a versatile performer in a wide range of styles and brings an elegant European flavor to the camp staff.
