In addition to the Lafferty Mandolin, the winner will also receive a hard-shell case and The Mandolin Store t-shirt and ball cap.
"The Lafferty Mandolin line is made in the USA to our specifications. This project has been rolling around in my head for several years and I finally made the time to bring this project to life," said Dennis Vance of The Mandolin Store.
"To celebrate our launch we thought it would be a great gesture to the mandolin community to give one of our instruments away as a way to introduce the line," he said.
The Lafferty A model mandolin retails for $1,749.
In addition to the A model with F holes (LA-5W), The Lafferty line currently includes an F mandolin (LF-5B), oval hole A model (LA-2), octave mandolin (L-O) and bouzouki (L-B).
