Kentucky Announces New Master Model KM-900 Mandolin

San Francisco, Calif. — The Kentucky Mandolin company has announced production of the new Master Model KM-900 mandolin, the design inspired by the original Gibson A5 mandolin signed and dated by Lloyd Loar on September 20, 1923.

Specs:
Adirondack Spruce
Figured Michigan Maple
Hand carved and graduated
Slim, v-shaped neck
Two-piece Ebony compensated adjustable bridge
Cremona brown sunburst
Nitro-cellulose finish for protection and optimum tonal response

This new addition to the Kentucky line is expected to be on display at the upcoming Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, California, held January 14-17, 2010.

Suggested retail is $1,295.
