Rockville, Maryland — Blues mandolin master Rich DelGrosso will lead a blues mandolin workshop from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Patuxent Studios, 409 N. Stonestreet Ave.

DelGrosso is a specialist with an emphasis on the styles of Yank Rachel, Howard Armstrong and Johnny Young. A truly great player and teacher, he has taught music for over 25 years.

He also has a regular column in Mandolin Magazine, and his writing has been featured in Living Blues, Mandolin World News, and Frets magazines.

His latest book, Mandolin Blues: from Memphis to Maxwell Street, was released in 2005 and is an essential reference for the Blues Mandolinist.
