Stewart-MacDonald Campfire Kit

Stewart-MacDonald Campfire Kit

New from Stewart-MacDonald, the Campfire mandolin kit is a relatively simple instrument for up and coming luthiers to build. Requiring only the most basic hand tools for construction, the Campfire, due to its Army-Navy style and sound, is also designed to appeal to veteran luthiers.

The kit, which features solid woods not plywood, includes a Sitka spruce top, bent sides and flat back of straight-grain maple, machined mahogany bolt-on neck with steel reinforcement bar, slotted rosewood fingerboard, spruce braces, mahogany body blocks and an ebony bridge. Also included with the kit are fretwire, inlays, nut, blueprint and complete photo- illustrated instructions to facilitate assembly.
