A fascinating debut CD by this Nashville-based musician, a senior commercial music major at Belmont University and the son of Kris and Dale Ballinger, members of the famed bluegrass group The Cluster Pluckers.

A member of Missy Raines & The New Hip band, his 16 original tunes defy category but display influences of jazz, ambient, middle-eastern and progressive new acoustic, showing he's clearly comfortable with his own music. Someone to watch closely in the future.
