ZoukFest 2008 Scholarship Recipients Announced

Santa Fe, N.M. — The ZoukFest Board of Directors have announced the scholarship recipients for this year's festival.

Scholarships were open to anyone whose financial need would otherwise prevent them from attending.

High school and college age students, as well as music teachers were encouraged to apply and scholarships were awarded based on need and suitability.

This year's ZoukFest scholarship recipients are:

Kimberly Forée
Corey Green
Lauren Joiner
Benito Plaza
Lucia Purpura-Pontoniere

ZoukFest, the Southwest's premier world music camp will be held June 8-14, 2008 at the College of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
