Hotchkiss, Co. — The North Fork Bluegrass & Roots Music Jam Camp will be held here on June 9-12, 2008 proceeding the Bluegrass & Roots Music Festival June 13-15.

Join the North Fork staff for four days of laid back low-key fun with some of the finest instructors in acoustic music including former National Mandolin Champion Anthony Hannigan and members of his Hickory Project band.

The beautiful mountain town of Hotchkiss is about halfway between Aspen and Telluride. If you are planning on attending the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, come a week early and catch both festivals!

The camp focus is bluegrass, blues, & folk styles of acoustic music and offers instrument workshops, faculty performances, and opportunities to meet, greet and pick with new and old friends. Bring your guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo or bass. Beginners to more experienced musicians are welcome.

The cost for the camp is $295.00 for full participation. Guests are $25.00 each and welcome to attend performances, large group sessions and our group pot luck shared meals. Camping and hotel accommodations are listed on the camp web site.
