Big Joe's Guitarworks
Nashville, Tenn. — Big Joe's Guitarworks, a new repair and retail music store specializing in mandolins and guitars announces their grand opening to be held at the store's location, 854 Madison Square from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., May 10, 2008.
Owner Joe Vest was most recently the Manager of the Gibson Bluegrass Showcase and Gibson Repair and Restoration Division for 15 years and is well known and respected in the music community for his dedication to customer service and supportive presence, be it over the phone or in online music forums, including the Mandolin Cafe.
In addition to being Nashville's premier instrument repair facility, the store will specialize in the sale and trade of quality new and used musical products including mandolins, vintage guitars and amplifiers and other items of interest to the amateur or professional musician.
Joining the store's staff will be Joshua Vest, master luthier for Gibson Repair and Restoration and Vernon Farmer, an apprentice luthier, musician and master woodworker.
The store has plans to launch a web site in the near future.
