Andy Irvine Joins 2008 ZoukFest Staff

Santa Fe, N.M. — ZoukFest 2008 organizers are proud to announce the addition of Irish music legend Andy Irvine to its staff, June 8-14, 2008 at the College of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Since his early days with Sweeney's Men in the 1960s to Planxty, Patrick Street, and Mozaik, Andy has been at the forefront of the revival of Irish traditional music.
His virtuosity on the mandolin, mandola and bouzouki, as well as his unique approach to arranging, have made him one of the most influential musicians of his generation.
Andy's participation at ZoukFest 2008 is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the greats in a relaxed workshop setting.
