Logan, Mont. — Weber Fine Acoustic Instruments in is proud to welcome three-time National Flatpick Guitar Champion Steve Kaufman to its headquarters for a short series of mandolin and guitar workshops May 1-3, 2008
Author of over 20 instructional books, Steve is the founder and chief instructor at his own award-winning Steve Kaufman Acoustic Kamps in Maryville, Tennessee.

Steve will cover fingerings, how to learn new songs, learning to learn by tab and by ear, chords from basic to intermediate forms, how they move around the fingerboard, chop chords, timing, notes, and more.
May 2-3, also at the Weber Shop, an all-level hands-on 8 hour flatpicking guitar workshop will be held. Bring a tape recorder, guitar and lots of questions.
The evening of May 3, Sound To Earth will sponsor Steve in concert at the Garden Cafe at 107 S. Broadway, Manhattan, Montana. Opening up the show will be Doug Schlender and his band. $10 general admission or $7 for workshop participants.
