2008 Inverness Mandolin Gathering with Ed Neff

Inverness, Calif. — The Inverness Mandolin Gathering featuring California mandolin legend Ed Neff will be held Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 55 Via Del Vista from noon until the music stops. A mandolin workshop commences at 1:00 p.m.

The Inverness Mandolin Gathering is open to everyone who owns a mandolin, plays a mandolin or just enjoys mandolin music. There will be lots of mandolins to sample and a potluck, so bring your favorite dish and join in.

Ed Neff has been a mainstay of Bay Area Bluegrass for almost forty years, playing and recording with High Country, Done Gone, Vern & Ray, Rose Maddox, True Blue, Lone Prairie and more.

He has recently published a mandolin DVD entitled Ed Neff - Bluegrass Mandolin and copies will be available for sale throughout the event.
