Not your granddaddy's bluegrass band, or anyone else's for that matter.

With Chris Thile fronting the Punch Brothers, expect a recording drawing inspiration from a wide variety of genres, including the classical inspired cut The Blind Leaving the Blind, a 40-minute, four-movement suite.

In addition to Thile, the Punch Brothers includes Chris Eldridge on guitar, Greg Garrison on bass, Noam Pikelny on banjo and Gabe Witcher on fiddle.
