Atlanta Mandolin Orchestra with Butch Baldassari and David Schnaufer

The Atlanta Mandolin Orchestra will appear in concert with Butch Baldassari on Mandolin and David Schnaufer on Appalachian Dulcimer on September 18, 2004, at the Colonnade - Catoosa County Civic Center, Performing Arts Theater, 264 Catoosa Circle Ringgold, Georgia.
AMO will be performing a program ranging from mandolin music from the turn of the century to a Samba and Tango and new music written for mandolin orchestra's and a special performance of Chattanooga Choo Choo with Robb Smith (conductor) on trombone.
Butch Baldassari is a master of a wide variety of mandolin genres and will be performing with David Schnaufer, a world champion dulcimer player who performs in many different styles. From conjunto to rock and soul classics to Appalachian folk tunes, Schnaufer puts his spin on it all.
The beautiful Colonnade - Catoosa County Civic Center, Performing Arts Theater is located 1.6 miles from Interstate 75. Exit 350 go west on Battlefield Parkway (Hwy 2) on Old Mill Road at the Benton Place Campus between Fort Oglethorpe and Ringgold. Ringgold, Georgia is just south of Chattanooga, Tennessee, only a short hour and a half drive from Atlanta, two hours from Knoxville and Nashville and minutes from Chattanooga.
