Rich DelGrosso Mandolin Workshop and Concert

New York, N.Y. — Rich DelGrosso will host a blues mandolin workshop on April 16, 2008, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m with a concert held the previous evening at The Living Room, 154 Ludlow, between Stanton & Rivington.

The cost of the workshop is $75 and attendance will be limited to a dozen students.

NOTE: Advance registration is required on a first come, first served basis. Walk-in registrations will not be accepted. Additional information and registration for the workshop is available by emailing jon@secondfiddles.com.

Rich DelGrosso is a specialist with an emphasis on the styles of Yank Rachel, Howard Armstrong and Johnny Young. A truly great player and teacher, he has taught music for over 25 years. He also has a regular column in Mandolin Magazine, and his writing has been featured in Living Blues, Mandolin World News, and Frets magazines.

His latest book, Mandolin Blues: from Memphis to Maxwell Street, was released in 2005 and is an essential reference for the Blues Mandolinist.
