International Bluegrass Music Museum Monroe-Style Mandolin Camp

Owensboro, Kent. — As part of the financial package necessary to run the 2008 Monroe-Style Mandolin Camp, the Mandolin Cafe will provide financial assistance as one of the sponsors for this year's event.

Held at the world famous International Bluegrass Music Museum, the 2008 camp dates are September 12-14 and will include a line-up of instructors steeped in the best Monroe tradition.

In 2007, attendees from 17 states and 2 countries experienced the intensive Monroe-Style instruction only to be found at the Bluegrass Museum's camp.

Registration and additional information will be made available at a later date at the Museum's Mandolin Camp home page.

Located in Owensboro, Kentucky, the International Bluegrass Music Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to develop and maintain an environment in which people of all ages can discover the richness of bluegrass music through an exciting and educational experience. In keeping with the museum's mission, the Monroe Style Mandolin promises to provide another exciting, educational, ground-breaking, and great place for mandolin players to gather.
